Make an original character (OC) height chart that survives revisions

Original characters change. Lock names and heights first, keep a door for sanity checks, and upload art only when you are ready for other people to see it.

Example: two OCs and a door

A static height sheet looks finished until someone revises an age, adds a guest, or needs a doorway for scale. A live chart treats each original character (OC) as an editable named height.

Draft with silhouettes while designs still shift. Export on purpose when the height order stops changing every other day.

How to draft an original character (OC) height chart

Start simple. Art can wait.

  1. Add each OC on Person

Open Custom, stay on Person, and add clear names with honest heights for each original character. Pick one unit system for the whole cast.

Custom Person form for adding named original character heights
Draft path: Name, Height, Figure—repeat for each OC.
  2. Keep a door while numbers are still soft

A ~200 cm door catches typos and “about this tall” guesses. Write the same heights into your lore notes.

Chart with Rin, Kai, and a door on one scale
Two original characters and a door—easy to rename as the lore changes.
  3. Optional: pull a canon guest from the height list

When a scene needs a published character, add them from Height so both share one scale. Use one source for that guest.

  4. Share heights; export art later

Links restore heights without leaking WIP faces. Export a PNG when the cast is ready for a public reference.

Mixing original characters with canon guests

Pull the guest from the height list, then stand your OC next to them. Say so if the canon height is contested.

An honest “approx.” label beats fake precision that fans will challenge in five minutes.

Survive revisions

Upload standing art only when you would not mind a screenshot living in someone else’s camera roll.

If the document and the chart disagree, update both. Future-you should not argue with past-you.
